TUNNELS: 2Typical section of the tunnels: circular, 10.95 m inner diameter.
Excavation with tunnel boring machine, support based on 0.40 m dowels.
thickness and total excavation of 12.10 m diameter (115 m²). 1,295 m long “Girona I Tunnel”. 1,555 m long “Girona II Tunnel” 1 attack shaft executed between screens, 105 m long.
STATION: Girona station built between 685 m long screens on three levels. Both the High Speed Line station (with a surface area of 8,000 m²) and the bus station (with 3,000 m²), which has 29 bus docks, are integrated into the building. There is a subway parking lot with a total area of 10,100 m².
TIME FOR EXECUTION OF THE WORKS: 46 months.
